Constant consumption of energy drinks could result in dependency and addiction if left unhindered. Like any addictive substance, withdrawal symptoms will then be experienced once consumption is stopped.
Additionally, too much caffeine intake is one of the causes of insomnia among many individuals. Further side effects include jitteriness and an increased heart rate. Caffeine in energy drinks should be avoided as much as possible since it only temporarily provides the body quick shots of energy. Instead, get enough sleep so you can have real energy for a given day.
